Hints and Tips from the HEDmaster!

Here's the place where you can find out how the hell you should be using these wonderful hairstyling products!

Most brands just give you the product and turn their backs on you like a worn out jumper - well we're not like that, we're the sort of people who would take you to the cinema and buy the popcorn as well as the tickets! Yes, we're that nice. On that note here are the products and some invaluable hints and tips to help you use them:

Gel
If you like a rock hard hold along with that "I've just been baptized" wet look, then Hed Strong Hold Gel is the way forward. Use a small amount on towel dried hair to add a bit of hold, but load it on if you're going out and can't stand for a single hair to be out of place!

For defined spikes pull a small amount of gel from the lower half of the hair through to the tip - be careful not to get too much product at the base of the hair (near your head) as this will make your hair look limp by the end of the day.

HED Strong Hold Styling Gel

Fibre
Yes, fibre is a little hard to use at first, but persevere, you won't regret it! Rub it in your fingertips and use it on dry hair or towel dried hair to really control short to medium hair.

Make sure you massage it well into your hair as well as your hands, the more you play with it the softer it gets (stay with it, we're still talking about hair).

HED Strong Hold Hair Putty

Wax
OK, so you've probably used wax before, but you haven't used Hed Wax before... and for that you must be punished... severely. OK, we'll leave the punishment up to you, we'll just advise you to use Hed Wax and be silently smug when you come back, cap in hand, asking for more.

HED Sculpting Hair Wax

Cream
NOTE - DO NOT PUT IN COFFEE. Someone once did this and needless to say they wished they hadn't - big mistake.

Styling Cream is great cos it can finish off a style (if you use in small amounts) as well as holding a style in place - much like a woman who pulls off being a blonde as well as a brunette.

HED Reworkable Hair Cream

Who said you can't teach an old dog new tricks?
Patrick at the office once taught an elderly Alsatian how to get stubborn blackcurrant stains out of tennis whites.

If you think you could teach us something (preferably about hair styling) then send it to: care@getahed.com
